Introduction

Welcome to the Carousel Program. These Terms and Conditions of Membership are for the mutual benefit of the Program’s Members and Carousel. These are in addition To: 

(a) The Carousel Membership Application you submitted;

(b) The Carousel Terms and Conditions

(c) Membership Fee (valid for two (2) consecutive years)

The Member’s and Carousel’s rights and obligations are determined by these Terms and Conditions of Membership, the standard term for a Carousel vehicle is six (6) months and the maximum term is one (1) year on qualified vehicles.

Membership Criteria

In order to become and stay a Member of the Carousel program, the following criteria must be met:

(a) Member must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age;

(b) Member must have current automobile insurance policy

(c) Member must have had a valid state driver’s license for at least one (1) year.

(d) Member(s) must qualify based on individual credit history

Membership criteria are subject to change at the discretion of Carousel.

Reservations

You may reserve a Carousel vehicle in one of three ways:

(1) via our website (2) by contacting a Carousel associate At (808) 597-8522 or (3) by visiting the Autosource Showroom located at 1488 Kapiolani Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96814.

Cancellations

Carousel website or by calling the Carousel phone reservation line. A cancellation fee may apply.

You may cancel a reservation at any time by using the Carousel Member Portal of by contacting your Carousel Membership Associate. 

Prior to Departure

Carousel will make every attempt to ensure that all vehicles are well maintained and clean prior to delivery. Both the member and a Carousel associate will conduct a visual inspection of the vehicles at the time of pick up. During this inspection the Member must point out any concerns or physical damage on the vehicle. The member will receive a temporary registration and a safety check which is to be kept in the vehicle at all time.

Mileage limitations

There will be a set mileage limit of 10,000 per (6) month term. Each additional mile will be assessed a fee of 10 cents (.10) per mile.

Tier upgrade

Members must pay a fee equal to the difference between the new tier membership fee and the original tier membership fee. If a member upgrades to a higher tier the expiration is 2 years from the original membership date and NOT from the upgrade date.

Note to “custom” tier clients, exchange fees are $2,000.

Free Maintenance

All scheduled maintenance, brakes, and tires, will be included as part of your Carousel program. Excessive wear to brakes & tires will not be covered. This excludes all other wear and tear items.

GAP insurance

Gap insurance protection is included with every leased vehicle.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle. Failure to comply will result in a $500.00 deodorizing fee which will be assessed upon the lease expiration.

Accidents

Any and all accidents will be handled by Members personal insurance policy. Please refer to the lease contract for details.

Roadside Assistance Program

Assistance program or Insurance Carriers Road Side Assistance

Road Hazard

All vehicles will be covered by the Manufacturers Road Side Assistance program or Insurance Carriers Road Side Assistance Program. Members are responsible for maintaining their own Roadside Assistance policy.Road hazard (flat tires, potholes, bruises on tire, etc.) will not be covered underthe complimentary maintenance program. This

option canbe purchased through the members own personal auto insurance.

Warranty and Repairs

All Carousel vehicles are under manufacturer's warranty, therefore any malfunctions or repairs will be handled through the manufacturers service facility. Select Carousel locations will offer a concierge service which will include a complimentary loaner vehicle. Non-warranty repairs are at the responsibility of the Member.

Registration & Safety Check

Safety checks and registration fees are complimentary for the entire duration of the membership.

Return

Members must return Carousel vehicles promptly at the end of the lease term. All vehicles must arrive in the same condition as when the vehicle was originally delivered. The interior and the exterior of the vehicle must be cleaned. Any damages that may have occured while the member was in possession of the vehicle must clearly be stated and noted by both the Member and a Carousel Associate. A repair charge will be assessed to the Mener should the Member wish to return the vehicle without repairing any damagescause while in their possession. All outstanding payments must be made at the time of return.

Insurance

All Carousel Members are required to carry their own personal insurance continuously. By joining the Carousel program, the vehicle insurance. This policy must be in place for the duration

Traffic and Parking Violations

The client will be responsible for the cost of all traffic and/or parking violations which are incurred while leasing a Carousel vehicle.

Lease Expiration & Transition

Upon the expiration of the six (6) month lease term, the Member must exchange vehicles. Only qualified vehicles are eligible to be re-leased consecutively not to exceed one (1) year.

Purchase Option

The Member has the option to purchase their Carousel vehicle at any time throughout the lease period. Member pricing will be offered upon request. The Membership fee may not be credited towards purchase price.

Early Exchange

Any Member who would like to exchange the current vehicle to Any Member who would like to exchange their current vehicle for another vehicle prior to the lease expiration date will be charged a another one prior to the lease expiration date will be charged a fee comensurate with their Membership Tier:

Account Suspension

Members are allowed to suspend their account at anytime, indefinitely, with no charge. No vehicle may be leased during the suspension period.

Termination by Carousel

Carousel may terminate a membership at any time, for any reason, by notifying the member in writing. Termination by reason, by notifying the member in writing. Shipping

Shipping any Carousel vehicle is not permitted.

Corporate Accounts

Special corporate accounts are available. Both corporate insurance and a guarantor are required to initiate a corporate account.

Multi-Car Households

Members who have more than one member in each household may be offered special rates based on availability and are subject to change.

Amendments to These Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions are subject to change by Carousel at any time by notifying the Members of any modifications.

Notice

Should the Terms and Conditions change Carousel is required to give the Member notice. Notification may be by any of the following; (i) posting on the Carousel website or (ii) by mail or (iii) by email. Should your contact information change, please notify Carousel immediately.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Carousel Program’s services, and all materials, information, products and services included in Carousel Program’s services are provided “AS IS”, with no warranties whatsoever. Carousel expressly disclaims to the fullest extent permitted by law all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement of proprietary rights. Carousel disclaims any warranties regarding the security, reliability, timeliness, and performance of Carousel’s services. Carousel disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for any malfunction of or deficiency in a vehicle, or any breach of warranty or other obligation of any manufacturer of supplier or repairer of any of its vehicles.

Limitation of Carousel Liability

Under no circumstances shall Carousel be held liable to any Member for:

(a) any delay in the delivery of a vehicle to a member;

(b) any damage or injury to persons or property arising from any claim relating to the Carousel Program. Such limitation of liability shall apply to prevent recovery of direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, and exemplary damages, whether such claim is based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise. Such limitation of liability shall apply whether the damages arise from use or misuse of and reliance on Carousel’s services, from inability to use Carousel services, or from the interruption, suspension, or termination of Carousel’s services (including such damages incurred by third parties); and

(c) any damages or losses caused or arising out of or in connection with any malfunction of or deficiency in a vehicle, whether or not by accident including any physical injury to person or property, or loss of profits or any indirect or consequential damages however caused.
